Julie Williamsen is the assistant dean and executive director of the Research Hub and director of the Business Library. In this role, she is responsible for managing the Data Acquisition and Governance unit, the Data, Analytics, and Research Computing unit, the Human Research Behavioral Lab, Research Operations, the Business Library, as well as faculty-led research labs and initiatives.

Prior to Stanford GSB Julie had over 20 years of experience in academic research, library management, content curation, and teaching, including tenured faculty position at Brigham Young University. She combines this with business ownership experience as a product manager at SirsiDynix, leading complex software products used in over 70 countries. She is passionate about access to knowledge, research and being at the forefront of technology, business innovation, and collaboration.

Julie earned her Masters of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University.
