Praewa has dedicated her career to empowering changemakers and catalyzing social innovations to address pressing sustainability challenges. She has co-directed a university-based social innovation lab, spearheaded policy innovation initiatives in governments, and co-founded the Circular Design Lab, the citizen-driven open innovation lab to tackle critical environmental challenges.

An experienced educator and program designer, Praewa has developed social innovation and entrepreneurship curricula and has taught, trained, and mentored thousands of changemakers, including university students, social entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and policy entrepreneurs. She taught social innovation courses in the Global Studies and Social Entrepreneurship program at Thammasat University and led the Design Lab program for University of California students from seven campuses. In 2019, she was appointed Assistant Professor in Social Innovation. Praewa holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University and an MSc in Global Innovation Management from the University of Strathclyde and Hamburg University of Technology, with a scholarship from the European Union. She is particularly interested in integrating systems thinking, design, foresight, and awareness-based approaches to create transformative and meaningful change.
