Robert Bartlett is the W. A. Franke Professor of Law and Business and faculty co-director of the Arthur and Toni Rembe Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford Law School. Before moving to Stanford in 2023, he taught at the law schools of UC Berkeley and the University of Georgia. Bartlett also worked as a corporate associate for Gunderson Dettmer, where his practice focused on startup and venture capital finance transactions.

Research Statement
My research interests lie at the center of law and finance, with a particular emphasis on venture capital finance, market structure, corporate governance, mandatory disclosure, and capital market regulation.
