Library Spaces

The Stanford GSB Library is housed in the Bass Center at the Knight Management Center.

Your ability to visit the Bass Center and spaces inside varies by your affiliation. Details for each space are below. If you are having issues with your ID card, contact Stanford GSB Facilities.

Library staff are available at the i-Desk near the front doors. Stop by the i-Desk to ask a question about library resources, check out books or equipment, use Course Reserves, pick up items on hold, and more. See more Research Support options.

Group Study Rooms

Stanford GSB Students - 24/7 with reservation

Located on the second and third floors and available to current GSB students. Reservations must be made in MARRS and contact Facilities with any questions.

Monitors for Your Laptops

On the second floor, these monitors have USB-C cables to connect to your laptop.

Reading Room

The General Atlantic Great Room and Terrace is on the fourth floor of the Bass Center (B412). Best for quiet, individual work. 

MSx Lounge

Stanford MBA & MSx - 24/7 access

Located on the third floor facing the Town Square.

Trader’s Pit

Located at the back of the first floor, the Makena Capital Trader’s Pit is a cluster of computers with specialized library databases, including Bloomberg Terminals. Select computers also have Adobe CC, and Matlab.

Computers are on the second and third floor. Use them to connect to the GSB Student virtual desktop or the GSB Library virtual desktop. If there isn’t a class in session, you can also use the computers in RAIL (B312, Ittlelson-Tuttle Classroom). More details in MyGSB.
