By September 1993, Bank of America’s Accounts Payable department had been reorganized in accordance with the recommendations of the project team led by Marty Rosenthal, and Mike Jackson had time to recall their meeting of the previous March. Mr. Rosenthal had discussed the department’s problems and proposed corrective actions which the B of A committee had accepted almost unchanged. It had taken six months to modify the computer system and to refine and implement the new procedures.
