Abstract

This research project applies and develops new supply chain theory with the following two objectives. (1) To better understand bottlenecks to incorporating farmer-brand relationships into complex supply chains that originate in developing economies. (2) To develop potential solutions for more efficient and competitive relationship-based sourcing from developing economies, using innovative supply chain tools.
