Responsible Sourcing from Developing Economies: Management Innovations for Scalable Direct Trade with Dryland Farmers

This research project applies and develops new supply chain theory with the following two objectives. (1) To better understand bottlenecks to incorporating farmer-brand relationships into complex supply chains that originate in developing economies. (2) To develop potential solutions for more efficient and competitive relationship-based sourcing from developing economies, using innovative supply chain tools.
