In this moderated discussion, Professor Shoham will delve into the evolving landscape of enterprise AI, examining its current state and future trajectory. He will address key questions such as why enterprise deployments often lag behind consumer adoption, the limitations of LLMs in enterprise applications, and whether AI agents represent meaningful progress or simply the latest hype.

More About the Speaker

Yoav Shoham is a co-founder and co-CEO at AI21 Labs and professor emeritus of computer science at Stanford University. 

He is a Fellow of AAAI, ACM, and the Game Theory Society and has been awarded the IJCAI Research Excellence Award, AAAI/ACM Allen Newell Award, and ACM/SIGAI Autonomous Agents Research Award, among others. 

Prof. Shoham has co-founded several AI companies, including TradingDynamics (ARBA), Katango and Timeful (GOOG), and AI21 Labs. He is also the founding chair of the AI Index initiative and chairs the Scientific Advisory Committee of Israel’s National AI Initiative.

Haim Mendelson is the Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers Professor of Electronic Business and Commerce, and Management at Stanford Graduate School of Business and director of the Value Chain Innovation Initiative.
