Program Format
The Emerging COO program is offered in a dynamic, hybrid format to meet you where you are and help you fit the program into your life without missing the opportunity to experience all that Stanford has to offer. This format delivers the unique opportunity to develop, deepen, and apply your learning, while offering schedule and travel flexibility.
In-Person and Online Program
This hands-on program blends immersive online learning (self-paced online & live online sessions) with six experiential days on the Stanford University campus, in the heart of Silicon Valley. When you return to your company, you will put your learning into action by working on a specific business challenge for your organization.
Three Module Structure
This program is delivered in three distinct yet connected modules over the course of three months to provide both depth and breadth.
Module 1: Build the Foundation
Strengthen your financial and strategic acumen through immersive online content and hands-on assignments. Acquire new skills to help you interact and partner with other senior leaders in your organization.
Module 2: Explore and Engage
Building upon learnings from Module 1, learn how to become a more effective COO through a variety of faculty-led discussions, experiential sessions, and guest speakers to put learning into action.
Module 3: Apply and Innovate
Integrate online coursework in design thinking with strategies and insights learned in the first two modules, as you execute a business challenge specific to your organization.
